Our showcase involved sharing lots of work so far on our topic who am I? This half term the children have learnt about our bodies, shared facts they know and painted self-portraits. We have found out all about our families, sharing photographs, creating family trees and drawing family portraits. The children have read, ‘The Rainbow Fish’ by Marcus Pfister as our author study for this half term, they discussed the different feelings and sequenced the story. During our showcase the children performed a poem we learnt for world poetry day called ‘a pointy hat’ they recited this confidently using their own actions.
