On Thursday 27th June, Elm Class met the author/illustrator Alex Milway. Not only did they listen to him read extracts from his Hotel Flamingo books but they also got to draw two of his characters, following his step by step instructions. The children were amazed by Alex’s drawing skills and were very proud of their own attempts.
